Study Language & Culture In Berlin This Summer With Ies Abroad
In response to COVID-19, enhanced safety guidelines will be in place this year, such as social distancing and personal protective equipment (PPE) for on-site classes, field trips and solo travel, and staying in apartments or condos (such as staying at home) if self-quarantining. Ensures sufficient space if necessary.
We’ve planned for the “what ifs” so you don’t have to. From international health insurance included in the price of your program to highly trained local staff who can connect you with English-speaking healthcare professionals, we work around the clock to ensure your health and safety while abroad. This intensive course has 6 lessons from Monday to Friday with a maximum of 8 people. In the intensive course, general German is taught, but thanks to the small groups in the afternoon, the individual needs of students who need German for work or university can be met.
The Accelerated Course combines a standard group course with a 20-week course (held in the morning) with a 10-week individual course, attended after lunch in the afternoon. In individual courses, you can choose a course topic (grammar, presentation, etc.).
Duration: 4 weeks, 5th week with exam @ GLS Berlin | Lessons: 30 per week = 20 General German + 10 Preparation for the TestDaF The TestDaF exam takes place immediately after the course. Students who attend the GLS Preparatory Course can be guaranteed a place in the exam. Course price does not include exam fees.
German Language School Berlin
The Business Crash Course combines a standard group course with 20 weekly lessons (held in the morning) and 10 weekly lessons, followed by lunch in the afternoon. Afternoon one-on-one sessions are suitable for students who need German in the workplace.
GLS German Language School is a green garden in the center of Berlin – campus with 14,000 m², garden, restaurant, kitchen, free WiFi. On campus, fully furnished studio apartments and small apartments are available.
The school cafeteria has a terrace overlooking the famous Castilianalle, known as Casting Street, as it is a popular location for film and fashion shoots.
