The Early Childhood Science Associate Program prepares students to work with their infants from birth to kindergarten. A quasi-program in the science of early childhood development is being developed and supported in collaboration with Southern Oregon University (SOU). SOU’s Early Childhood Development (ECD) program allows students to transfer directly as a junior and begin an ECD course at SOU without losing credits to earn a bachelor’s degree. Students with an ECE quasi-science degree will receive Step 9 of the Oregon Registration Process at the Career Development Center in Childcare and Education in Oregon.
