Hair
Then - In 1982 I had my below-the-shoulders hair cut shorter than I have it now because fashions were changing. But it was still a bit of a shock at first.

Now -These days I have copper tones instead of my bottle-blonde streaks from before. But I've never grown it long again.

Make-up
Then - I was much more into my music than make-up back then. I used to keep things fairly fresh looking, maybe because I was never very good at putting it on! Now - I use Oil of Olay foundation and a Clinique loose powder and lipstick. I wear lipstick and mascara every day - I won't go out without them on. I use Nivea products on my skin. I've tried more expensive creams, but I came out in blotches. But as you get older, your skin changes and you have to try different things.

Are you still in the industry?
Definitely. My partner Peter and I are producing a pop band called Krave and I still put records out, but only to the clubs. Last year I did a high-energy cover of Living On A Prayer, which goes down brilliantly on '80s nights. I've also been asked to re-record my hits, which will be remixed and, hopefully, released as singles.
